Since I first heard Chester Watson on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show last March, I knew I was listening to the start of something special. Since then I've followed him and his Nu Age hombres closely, as they've started to build the foundations of a successful clique, with every member releasing strong tracks to back up their projected talent.
With 2014 swiftly moving forward (how fast has this year gone?!), we've not heard much too much from Nu Age members Comme and Breeze, apart from a couple of features on Chester Watson's last project Tin Wookie. Well today we've been graced with a hot new joint from the pair, entitled "Dojà", and even though Comme is now known as Kàhmi, the rest is still the same. They both have improved their flows ten-fold, as they ride the beat closely delivering some tough lyricism to complement the hunger with which they attack the beat. The pair are backed by a beat produced by fellow Nu Age collective member Chester Watson, who once again demonstrates his immense talents behind the boards. With an eerie sample floating over the top of some outlandish sounding drums, the instrumental sits nicely with laid back vibe, yet still has that snap with the hard execution that Kàhmi and Breeze bring to the forefront.
You can see for yourself what all the hype's about by streaming "Dojà" below, and be sure to keep your eyes and ears locked onto EARMILK for the latest music to come from the Nu Age Syndicate!
