These are the mashes that are worth hearing, so stop your searching and instead settle down at your computer… turn up your speakers… and get ready for that sweet nectar that only EARMILK can give ya. Let's GO!

After a long (and cold) vacation in Chile, I'm back to delivering a healthy dose of mashup tracks for your listening pleasure. Starting off we have selections from Leeya and LeeDM101, with "Loving One Another" and "The Longtime Thrill is Gone" respectively. You may recognize Leeya from Week 105 awhile back, but it's hard for me to bypass her mashing style. Not content with sampling typical tracks, this Jordanian-residing artist goes with Andru's "Wailin", Phazz's "Addiction", as well as Axwell, Bob Sinclar, and Ron Carroll's "What A Wonderful World". The result is pretty much heaven to my ears. "The Longtime Thrill is Gone" by LeeDM101 is right up there with it, as the meaning to BB King's "The Thrill Is Gone" is reinforced majestically with Moby's "A Long Time". Dim your lights, and bask in the glory that emanates from both these tracks.

Following next is Jules' Mashups "Beat The People" which draws its' samples from Michael Jackson, Empire of the Sun, and others. The sampled guitar line from "We Are The People" allows Jackson's iconic "Beat It" vocals to truly take center stage, while other aspects are slowly introduced. Never delving into an atmosphere that is too hectic, Jules' masterfully maintains a light, yet fun, mood. Duncan Gerow, a personal favorite of mine, continues this mood with his rendition of "2 On". Choosing to utilize Tinashe's original, and overlaying it on Drake's "Hold On, We're Going Home", Gerow, once again, gives us an absolute treat. As long as Gerow keeps on pumping out tracks like these, I shall keep on highlighting them as must-listens.

To wrap things up quickly, other highlights from this week's selection include DJ Moule's "Bohemian Thunder", Djenergy's "Beyond The Veil", and DJ Schmolli's tribute mash to recently deceased Tommy Ramone, the final original member of the Ramones to pass. Hope y'all enjoy these, and all the rest, and as always, hit up the comments with your favorites and suggestions.
