The production outfit known as ColeCo have been creating deep-leaning to tropically-inspired house tunes for the past few years. The Canadian pair, made up of Duncan Grewar and Sean Bugatti, continually deliver tracks which radiate with the soul of R&B, while pushing the boundaries of house music.
Known for both their original productions and their moving house remixes, the two return with an edit of Kina Grannis' cover of "Sweater Weather". The original track, which came courtesy of The Neighbourhood in 2013, hit no. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart, but now is seeing a tropical rework by Coleco. Giving the track a beachy makeover, the duo keep the slow building vibes, before adding hazy bass plugs and a pitched down vocal echo. Available as a free download, this version of "Sweater Weather" encompasses everything summertime…aside for the title that is.
