Marz Leon is the epitome of hard work. Since she started writing her own songs at the age of 14, she has gone on to enroll herself on college courses for engineering and beatmaking, steadily building up her knowledge and quenching her thirst for her musical dream. All of this has an end goal; to inspire people to conquer their fears, and turn them into leaders, all through her work.
This month Marz has released her debut single, "Loner", and what a gem of a track to debut with. With those alt R&B kind of vibes that have seen successful artists such as Rochelle Jordan and Banks flourish, "Loner" shows glimpses of a dark and brooding Marz, as she swoons across the Mike Dez produced beat. Funked up bass lines collide across some really deep kicks and percussion, only broken up by an occasional glimmer of a bright guitar riff. The LA native showcases her fantastically soothing voice that glides across the instrumental gracefully.
