Colorado's Mesita is back in the studio recording his fifth album, Infinity Sky Deluxe, set for release early this Fall. To tide us over Mesita has released the first single from the new album, “The Villain".
The song transitions from echoey vocals to deep muddied beats. The result is a fun but intense track that is both original and infectiously catchy . Although there is a deep menacing underlining tone, the clarity of the sound keeps the vibe from sounding too thick. Without a ton of varying lyrics to the track, the lifts and depths in the composition keep your attention though-out the track right until the end where the beat and vocals join for a more unified front.
