As the week draws to an end, and we all get ready for the weekend, it's about time that we brought you an exclusive premiere of an incredibly dope video by one of UK hip hops strongest teams; Problem Child. With England's national soccer team all but out of the World Cup after a dismal performance against Uruguay last night, it's only right to delve into what the English are not so bad at; hip hop.
"Energy" is the latest single from UK rap supergroup Problem Child, who consist of three emcee's; Dubbledge, Illaman & Dabbla, as well as brains behind the boards Sumgii. What happens when these four powerhouses collide is pure magic, with Sumgii providing an 808 kick laced beat, with murky sounding synth lines over the trap-like beat. Each of the emcee's grace the beat with a verse, and every single one of them provide their own respective engaging flow's that hug the beat tightly, as they talk about what happens when they get drunk on a night out and the madness that follows them. The visuals for this single, which is the first track on their highly anticipated debut album Confessions Of A Normal Human Being, are some of the slickest I've seen for a long, long time. Taking inspiration from the legendary arcade fighter Mortal Kombat, as we see each of the rappers own in-game characters do battle with a host of enemies, including an unruly police officer and a mother who uses her baby as a weapon. It has to be seen to be believed.

The project, which is entirely produced by Sumgii, is a mixture of slow hip-hop tinged songs, as well as more uptempo grimey joints that will have crowds jumpin'.
