Come this June, the world would have been without the king of pop for five years. Michael Jackson made it possible for a lot of current entertainers to have successful careers today. Michael Jackson's Xscape album, which includes previously unreleased material, helps enforce the fact that MJ's legacy will live on forever. The track "Love Never Felt So Good" is a duet between MJ and his pop music disciple Justin Timberlake. Though the track was recorded in 1983, Slinger has taken the re-worked tune and created a contemporary dance smash.
The track opens up with JT talking about the impact MJ had on the world right before the beat drops. Slinger keeps it simple with the way he edits Michael's vocals on his remix and it's highly effective. I like the way he used different filters on MJ's voice to help build anticipation to the chorus'. He also uses a standard dance beat, which is the perfect backdrop for Michael's signature vocals. This is a straight up feel-good dance song and as MJ put it best, it never felt so good. Enjoy "Love Never Felt So Good" below.
