Young prouder, XO, has recently been grabbing our attention with the excellent UK House music he has been releasing.  First coming into the spotlight with his TLC "No Scrubs" remix that does the song epic justice, a feat that many producers have been unable to reach.  Since stumbling upon his TLC remix,  we've watched as XO has steadily pumped out killer remixes for the past few months.  XO's latest track, "What's Luv" is his first official original featuring vocals from Emma Corbett-Usher, and it is an absolute tune.

Emma Corbett-Usher's voice is reminiscent of a young Aluna [AlunaGeorge] and XO's exquisite production is on the same level as a lot of the most successful UK House music these days.  Said compliment can not be thrown around hastily, so take that as a testament to how nicely done this track is.  In fact, XO himself is a teenager, and we have seen what incredibly talented young UK producers have done in the past….he's even gotten some Twitter love from the likes of MNEK, let's hope that can mean an  XO // MNEK collab in the future, *one can dream*

XO mixes melodic chords, bass lines, and drums with the stellar vocals to create a playfully and simultaneous romantic essence to the song.  Although still relatively unknown, the caliber of XO's production increases with every release and he should be one to watch as his sound and popularity continue to grow.  Check out XO's first original track and head to Hype Machine to give it some love.
