Dripping versatility 1,2,3 are an eccentric Pittsburgh indie rock group looking to leave their mark on 2014. With a double album entitled Big Weather due out on May 27 via their own record label American Hermitage, the four-piece provide their first preview with the premiere of both "Big Weather I" and "Leave Me In The Sky With The Lawnchair". Showcasing two drastically different sides to 1,2,3's sound there is no telling what direction their forthcoming album will take.

Beginning with typical indie rock vibes listeners will soon discover that "Big Weather I" is anything but typical. At around the thirty second mark you will notice a change in the song as layered vocals chime in and the song never looks back. This is not to say that the instrumentals are generic, evident by their ability to stand alone through the intro in showcasing a swelling flow, however they are deliberately tamed in order to highlight the vocals while still keeping the song grounded.  Through and through "Big Weather I" can be seen as a whimsical offbeat ballad filled with moments that you will find yourself humming throughout the day.

"Leave Me In The Sky With The Lawnchair" takes on a completely different shape. Spawned out of what seems to be anger the short but endearing song never lets off the gas pedal, highlighting a garage rock mentality through low-fi guitars, accusing vocals and a spirited direction.

Keep an eye out for 1,2,3 as they provide just enough spunk that they could break through.
