Monday is the downer that ruins everything. But why should you quit partying while the rest of the world saunters back to another depressing 9-5? Why don't you take another day off and keep celebrating? If this is your thought process,  Rico & Miella have your back. A pair of classically trained musicians hailing from New York City who have no plans of slowing down, they've already caught the attention of Armada Music with their well received collaboration with Lush & Simon that surfaced earlier this year. Taking inspirations from a host of their favourite acts, such as Nervo and Adrian Lux, Rico & Miella have crafted a 6 track gem containing their own twist on some popular jams while infusing their own awe inspiring vocals within the songs.

Conceptually, it's a wonderful mash of big room bangers and soft vocal sections that don't come across as stale and played out. Whether you find yourself belting the words of the now classic MGMT hit, "Kids," or you just can't seem to stay straight during this melting pot of sounds the duo lay down, it's apparent that these guys have a bright future ahead of them. Give it a taste down below and make sure you share this post on Facebook for your chance to win a pair of Sol Republic headphones from Rico & Miella (I've got my own pair of Sols that have survived hell and back; you can't go wrong with these bad boys)
