A seasoned producer tuning chords for over a decade, Datassette champions his name with a badge certification as an electronica aficionado. With an extensive discography catalogued for the likes of Ai, Echoecho, Shipwreck, and a number of other self-released material, he now preps his upcoming release with Apollo Records – a label gathering reputation for their specialty in refinement, poise, and the ambient. A better pairing could not be possible as both label and producer feed off a distinct and quirky respectability pushing off-centered, yet equitable tunes for the masses.
Now delving deeper into exercise, Datassette's forthcoming Cagney XOR Lacey EP traverses around realms of motley sounds that flex range of electronic protraction. Where, at times, we find ourselves wayfaring over jazzed experiments, we come full circle with 8bit aria's that take us towards a different direction. The four-tracker is filled with an array of proper voltaic tones never failing to shift our moods. Now you have the opportunity to listen to the A1, "Cagney XOR Lacey" (Part 1), before the official release on March 10th. So turn on your monitors and let your mind roam with the aerial.
