Australia’s Jagwar Ma dropped Howlin last summer, and since, there has been a steady stream of remixes, the popular “Come Save Me” sporting at least four. The layers for “Uncertainty” are in the ether now, and Ewan Pearce has his own reimagining.
Remaining true to the nudisco and house vibes of the original, the track has a strong backbone of thick kicks and arpeggiated bass. The atmospheric touches – static swells and panning percussion – bring a new dimension to the track, thickening the dance track. “Uncertainty” isn’t without its hooks that grab on and don’t let go.
