Recently Duke Dumont hopped on the German-hailing Tensnake's "Love Sublime," to put his touch on a remixed rendition and now the rising house producer is lending his talents to Duke's "I Got U" . The original track, which was released late last year, just after Dumont received a Grammy nod for his glittering "Need You 100%," transports listeners to a sunny tropical beach with its steel drum-driven beat. Featuring vocals from Jax Jones, the sprawling production delivers a warm & fuzzy feeling that was unexpected from the typically darker-leaning Dumont.
Tensnake, who is preparing to unveil his debut album Glow March 11 via Virgin EMI, takes the track on a ride to the deeper side of house. Crafting an almost minute and half synthesized lead, Tensnake drops in a garage-inspired bassline reminiscent of Disclosure. Supplying listens with a revitalized remix, this revamped rendition of "I Got U" will have the dark underground clubs moving, without a doubt.
