Midnight Magic brings disco to Holy Ghost!'s "Bridge and Tunnel" [Download]

The first time I saw Midnight Magic was when they had opened for Holy Ghost! in LA a couple years back, so anything that features the two has associates a strong memory of nostalgia. With that being said, this new remix of their track "Bridge and Tunnel" warms my heart as it combines the best of both bands together for an nu-disco/indie-dance feel that will work perfectly for Valentine's Day morning.

Holy Ghost! has managed to find an unique sound that encompasses the feel of their home-label, DFA Records, while still holding a style that is uniquely theirs. The blend of the Midnight Magic disco style and the work of Nick and Alex is absolutely perfect in this rendition of "Bridge and Tunnel." The lines about returning to New York are perfect for both, and the blend returns Holy Ghost! back to their sounds of their first songs. "I Will Come Back" specifically comes to mind in listening to Midnight Magic's rendition.

Holy Ghost! has a couple of special shows coming up on April 4th and 5th in NYC before they make their debut appearance at Coachella Music Festival in Indio, California.
