Chox-Mak continues to work with talented new artists on his own path to success as the North Carolina rapper brings in Henny Tha Brain once again, following their previous collaboration on the old skool, and later rock music revamped “40 Ounces”. The lyrical pair are back this time slamming over a Dr.G beat with new track “In Yo Face”. This hookless rap is typically raw and focuses on the skills of its contributors rather than posturing or attempting to shove a product down our ears, preferring to educate and remind us of how to enjoy pure lyricism.

Although “In Yo Face” remains within Mak and DJ YRS Jerzy’s 90’s hip hop territory, with a stripped back beat and steady flow, this new release adds another dimension to a diverse back catalogue including modern remixes such as “Mak Matics”, his take on A$AP Nast’s tune, personal tracks like “Yourself” and the soulful N-Tone featured “Far Away”.
