We've had a lot of Jerome LOL talk over the past couple weeks here on our site, including an interview and a couple other posts, so to say that we've been excited for this LA-based artist's debut solo EP is a bit of an understatement.
Deleted/Fool dropped yesterday, and it's been a blessing in the disguise of eclectic, jazz-infused dance music. Half of the EP focuses on a slow and emotional side of the former LOL Boys member, and also exclusively features the vocals of Sara Z. The other half takes things into a darker and sexier world, and with the vocals of Angelina Lucero comprising both of the tracks on the b-side, there's is a 1920's speakeasy running rampant in my imaginations, of course with the modern twist of today's dance music added into the mix.
The EP is a stunning and beyond the standard track, proving that Jerome LOL's solo career is only growing stronger with every release. Along with this EP, he's also released the visuals for "Deleted," that mesh into the web-design-based art that Jerome LOL has made an essential part of his musical work. Besides the interesting 4:29 seconds it provides, that Been LOL shirt (in the video) is probably one of the coolest shirts to take on Been Trill.
