Rochelle Jordan laps up the night in her new video for "Follow Me"

Ever since Aaliyah passed away back in 2001, the R&B world has been calling out for someone who embodies her spirit for those hauntingly soft and soulful jams. Rochelle Jordan is one artist who I believe is the next big superstar in waiting, and with the release of her latest video, she signals her intent to get her voice heard across the globe. Her previous solo projects ROJO and Pressure were both packed to the brim with all the makings of a star, from the chilling vocals to the bumpin' beats, there wasn't one track I skipped through. But with those releases coming almost two years ago, and only a handful of single releases following (including the impressive Aaliyah tribute), I was starting to think that perhaps Rochelle was starting to fall off before she even started, although her promising Twitter updates provided some encouragement. Last month she released her latest single "Follow Me" and today we were treated to the stunning visuals.

"Follow Me", showcases her unique sound perfectly, with thumping drums mixed with scintillating synths, whilst her gentle and passionate vocals glide across the beat. The visuals, directed by Sharon Jane D, show Rochelle revelling in the night time, driving around the city and generally having a good time, which manages to capture the soft nature of the track.

You can peep the visuals for "Follow Me" below, and you can also buy the track from Rochelle's Bandcamp. Keep your eyes and ears locked onto EARMILK for the latest music from Rochelle in the future!
