When everyone was looking back at the year they had, it'd be safe to say that the Wilson brothers could count 2013 as one of their best. Under their Star One alias, they consistently released high quality music that was a hit across the globe, and found their way onto the pages of EARMILK on more than one occasion.
Their drum n bass infused banger "Wanted Man", which featured fellow UK artists Ghetts and Aynzli Jones, was a massive track in dances across the world, whilst their reworks of Justin Bieber and Mario Winans added more credibility to the originals and showed the diverse range of their talents. Now, as a new year begins, the duo have gone about setting the pace again this year, kicking it off with "Gangster Girls" which features gifted fellow Londoner Fallacy on emcee duties.
The trio come together to create a bass-drenched fusion of house and garage, which when it's mixed Fallacy's flow, harks back to the late 90's and early 2000's. The deep kicks keep the track rolling, whilst staccato-laced chords cut through and lift the track into full-blown rave territory. Fallacy's lyrics about hood girls and trying to resist them really fit well, with his flow riding the beat to perfection.
You can stream "Gangster Girls" below, and be sure to keep your eyes and ears locked onto EARMILK for the video and free download of the track which is due to be dropped on us February 3rd.
