If you cast your memories back to early October last year, upcoming London emcee ItsNate released his So Slocal mixtape to critical acclaim for fans and bloggers alike. His blend of grime, hip hop and eclectic beats was a breath of fresh air to some current musical visions and that hit a spot with fans across the globe.
Nate started 2014 by launching his own website for himself and everything Slocal related, and to celebrate the start of the new year, extremely talented upcoming producer JD Reid has dropped a delightfully laid back mix to get us into the Slocal groove for the upcoming year. The young beat wizard, who's 88 EP was featured on this very site last year, has drawn together some of the best tracks on the UK scene including his own productions and Piff Gang, as well as beats from the likes of Sango and Ta-ku.
