2013 brought us the first preview of Bombay Bicycle Club's fourth LP entitled So Long, See You Tomorrow in "Carry Me" that takes on the darker tones of sound the group can carry. Today the London gents released a polar opposite to "Carry Me" entitled "Luna" which maintains the electronic driven feel differing in offering up a clear hook and positive vibe. For a group that seems to gain momentum from each of their releases, Bombay Bicycle Club have positioned themselves in the perfect place to finally break through the Atlantic barrier, landing themselves on stereos of die-hard music enthusiasts and newcomers to the respective genre.

Easing into a grounded beat "Luna" begins with looping buoyant components that play a reoccurring role in easing what would otherwise be a heavy load of deep bass guitar tones and heavy percussive rhythms. Within the opening seconds vocal melodies showcase a light load setting the stage for laying on top of the instrumentals throughout. In listening through there is a sense of momentum that carries listeners to a harmonious chorus and ends in a climbing crescendo filled with distorted bass and chaotic rhythmic effects.

BBC also released a video for "Luna" today that features clips of synchronized swimmers practicing a routine in-line with the music. As the songs crescendo comes into play the swimmers bring the heat as they are transformed into what seems to be a competition that is highlighted by theatrical sparking swim caps.

Take a listen to "Carry Me" to hear the clear contrast and overall capability of the diverse musicians.

At this rate it seems So Long, See You Tomorrow will display both ends of what the group can do in terms of emotion and feel come February 3 via Vagrant Records. Preorder the album on iTunes and receive "Luna" instantly starting tomorrow.
