If you're a fan of electronic, it's no doubt you've heard the ethereal vocals of Zoe Johnston in Above & Beyond's "Love is Not Enough" before. Or, if you're like me, it's become an iconic landmark on the road map to embracing and understanding the trio's impactful journey in creating and changing the electronic music landscape.
This year has been another successful one for Jono, Tony and Paavo in their exploration into the demand that their music implores, leading to a full on creative survey of the acoustic side to their music. Seeing a huge response to their acoustic live shows in Europe and at LA's Greek Theater, the group expanded to highlight their beloved vocalists and huge instrumental band in what will culminate in a full on acoustic release in 2014. This week we get a little taste of it, and it's an absolutely beautiful version of "Love is Not Enough" that if you haven't heard it before, will make you understand why this movement has generated so quickly.
