Shlomi Aber – Tide [EP]

Isreal-based Shlomi Aber dropped another stellar release on September 30, entitled Tide, with Ovum Recordings. This two-track EP kicks off with “Slack Tide,” a seven-minute progressive gem that keeps the listener entranced throughout. The deep lead and crisp shakers keep an intense groove going all the way.

Shlomi Aber seems to have ventured away a little from his usual techy edge to bring us a more melodic approach to his house music. The EP’s second track, “Warehouse”, brings us back into a classic techno vibe with a crushing saw lead. Both of the tracks on this EP keep us starving for more. Catching Shlomi Aber playing Sankeys 24 on October 8th.
