Gangsta Boo and Sinjin Hawke – "Yea Hoe" [Download]

In an unpredictable turn of events, Gangsta Boo, one of the founding members of Three 6 Mafia, and Canadian producer Sinjin Hawke have come together to bring forth a new (and free!) track called "Yea Hoe".

Hawke begins the track with the juxtaposition of low bass and high pitched vocals. By doing this, he carefully draws in an audience, taking his sweet time before letting the hook come in, and then taking some more time before the beat makes its debut. All in all, it takes a full minute for it to all kick in, however, the wait is worth it.

As Gangsta Boo begins her rhymes, it's an instant dancefloor killer for both hip-hop and electronic-based parties. The orchestral element Sinjin compliments Gangsta Boo's badass rhymes, and although the bizarre combination makes the track feel more like a remix than the original track it is, it's innovative and, more importantly, fun.

Sinjin Hawke has been slowly producing songs with a steady outstream of about one a week, and combined with what looks like a slower tour schedule, hopefully something more is in the works. In the meantime, he's done a couple of really amazing free songs, which are available on his Soundcloud. Red Bull Music Academy hosted this free track.
