Irish rapper (yes, you read that right) Rejjie Snow first burst onto the scene with his track "Loveleen", the lead single from his Rejovich EP, released on Kaya Kaya Records (an imprint of XL Recordings) earlier this summer. He's back with a video for another track off the EP – "Snow (My Rap Song)". His sound is decidedly (and delightfully) dark and feels like the lovechild of Tyler the Creator and Piff Gang. The video reflects that vibe and shows Rejjie misbehaving on a school trip alongside shots of youthful vandalism. The best line by far is "Haile Selassie popping molly". This is stunning debut and it's nice to see him getting some traction. Big things are surely in his future.
