Nick Catchdubs – "Bizness" (Feat. IAMSU! and Jay Ant)

While Nick Catchdubs has always maintained a slightly smaller profile compared to his co-labelhead Alain Macklovitch, otherwise known as A-Trak, it doesn't mean that things are going to stay that way. With his debut LP, Smoke Machine, coming out soon via Fool's Gold Records, he has finally dropped "Bizness," and if this is any indication, Catchdini is about to have a really great release.

The song features IAMSU! and Jay Ant, culminating in a track filled with playful swagger. This is definitely a song for the pre-game, and is made for a guaranteed good time. It's everything Nick Catchdubs does best, as he brings great energy to the hybrid track that will keep EDM fans and hip hop heads equally happy.

The infusion of hip hop into the EDM scene (and vice versa) is something we've seen coming for a while now. Whether it's the trap movement, French dance producers working on Yeezus, or simply your favorite DJ including a throwback song in their set, it's becoming evident that the underground worlds of both scenes are rapidly colliding. Nick Catchdubs has been at the forefront of this movement, with Jiggy Blends coming out earlier this year, as well as releasing Loosies with A-Trak, the hip hop compilation album that combined the minds of Flosstradamus with Flatbush Zombies, Party Supplies with Action Bronson, and Brenmar with EMP DASME , among many others.

The Brooklyn-based DJ has a release party for the single this Friday in New York, along with stops at Electric Zoo and TomorrowWorld. IAMSU! and Jay Ant also have tour dates as well.
