Sometimes, simple is just better.
That is certainly the case with Italian producer Rivaz’s latest release, “Colors.” After first getting major attention on the Miami special edition of Thomas Gold’s Fanfare radio show a few months ago, the track is out today on the fellow Italian label d:vision Records. The progression that perfect riff to get you pumped for the summer festival and beach season: it’s shockingly simple, melodic, uplifting and somehow doesn’t get boring. Whether stumbling on this from pure luck or his knowledge in producing disco and Ibiza-themed tracks (or both), Rivaz has struck gold with this one.
