Jessie Ware – "Wildest Moments" (A$AP Rocky Remix)

Jessie Ware is getting ready to take over the world. While she's already made tsunami sized waves in the UK working with notable acts such as SBTRKT and Sampha, as well as releasing her debut album, Devotion, she has yet to make an official release in the US, and those of us (in the states) that have heard her vocals have been waiting, for what feels like an eternity, for her album to come out.

That's all about to change come April 16, and to keep the anticipation going, she has released little bits and pieces of what's to come on the Gold Edition of Devotion. Besides the amazing track she premiered on Annie Mac's show via BBC Radio 1, she has also come out with a remix of her hit, “Wildest Moments” with none other than A$AP Rocky, who has previously hinted at wishing to work with her in interviews.

The new version now features guest verses from the Harlem rapper, and adds an emotional dynamic to A$AP Rocky that would be great to see in some of his own songs. The original “Wildest Moments” is so great that I would never argue that this version is better; instead, it seems better to say that this remix is like a highlighter to their strengths as artists. Both Jessie Ware and A$AP Rocky have gone outside the box with their work in the past, and this new version only reaffirmed their ability to craft unique music. 

Preorders for Devotion: The Gold Edition can be found on Ware's site, and she also has various shows around the world, including stops at Coachella, Glastonbury, and Primavera Music Festival. A$AP Rocky and the rest of his mob also seem to be traveling nonstop, with the rapper currently on tour with Rihanna.
