Alex Young has done it again. His remixes are basically trustworthy nuggets of musical bliss. Even before you click the play button, you can be certain that his work will be representative of a producer twice his age and twice as experienced. His remix of Benzel's "Fallin Love" is no exception.
Young combines analog style synthwork that nods to The Postal Service and big bassy brass sounds to fill the audio spectrum. There is a lot of dynamic range to it as well during the beautiful breaks from percussion, something not all producers are keen on these days. The genre listed on Soundcloud is "Hood Euphoric"; I'd say that is fairly spot on. Glad to see Alex Young continue to grow on this new remix. Also included is a free download. Make sure to snag it.
