Ron and Vaughn Benjamin have been hard at work in the Afrikan Roots Lab and are set to release Be Strong on May 14. The title track, "Be Strong", just dropped and it has fans excited for another Midnite masterpiece. It has a grounation chant vibe to it–an unpolished sound that creates a raw, live feeling. Midnite likes to incorporate local musicians from St. Croix into the mix and this track seems to use that technique to the fullest. It's one of the first times we have heard vocal backing behind Vaughn. We're happy to see them keeping it fresh and anticipate the remainder of the release. Peace.
