Walk The Moon – "Tightrope" (J.Viewz remix)

Walk The Moon is a quartet indie band based out of Cincinnati, Ohio. Their style is quite light and bouncy to say the least. Their upbeat characteristics and catchy tunes often win over fans with relative ease. While taking a listen through their work, you can get the sense that Walk The Moon pulls influence from bands such as Talking Heads, David Bowie, and The Killers. Their most recent EP, Tightrope was released January 18 via RCA Records and was met with strong, positive reviews. One of the tunes off of the EP, "Tightrope", was recently remixed by J.Viewz and swayed its genre over towards dance. The original "Tightrope" is a classic feel-good indie song. After J.Viewz had his way with the track, the remix version emits more of a danceable, 80s club song. Both versions are highly contagious, in a good way.

The name is Phil. I've been with EARMILK for handful of years now. I love all sorts of music, and I tend to change up what type of music I'm into throughout the year. However, one thing is certain: I love anything chill and mellowed out. A lot of the time, you'll see me covering smooth, chilled out grooves through our infamous Daily 2% series. 80 BPM is love, 80 BPM is life.
