A few weeks ago we covered an up and coming trio of electronic producers, known as AndDrop!, who were releasing their first EP on Techibeats Records, Boogalo. Though the release demonstrated a depth of talent and hard work, the resulting response – a week at #1 on Beatport's top releases and a play on Chuckie's Radio 1 residency – must have been more than the young artists ever could have dreamed. Not to mention the outpouring of support from fans worldwide, which is why AndDrop! has decided to offer their remix of J-Trick and Reece Low's "Higher Ground" featuring Blissando as a free download. The original's vocals and circulating high remain intact, but the edit brings something much more sinister: a drop into a massive bassline that reminds me a lot of Tony Romera's "Iron" remix. This song has the power to fit well in a festival set, where crowds can't wait for the track that's going to send them over the edge.
