Musical throwback is the trend these days and now Jimmy Cliff, one of the last reggae giants from Bob Marley-era Jamaica, rewinds his sound with his new album Rebirth. With Rancid singer/reggae connoisseur Tim Armstrong behind the controls again, Cliff proves that he is still here – and so is reggae. My personal favorite, "Ruby Soho", is a Rancid cover flipped Cliff style with a warm, rootsy, 70's sound.
