Known in many circles as the lyricist in the rising indie rock band Kids These Days, Chicago's own Vic Mensa is back with another Austin Vesely directed visual this time for the first offering off his collaborative EP with fellow Chicagoan, Thelonious Martin entitled Part Two. On "Naked Pictures" Martin (who might I add is quite versatile behind the boards) incorporates an ill flip of R&B singer Syreeta's ballad "Cause We've Ended As Lovers" which forms the core of the provocatively record.
While there is no official word on a release date for the project, the first taste of the EP is sure to pique listeners' interest in the forthcoming project. We'll certainly be on the look out for more from the Chicago duo as they prepare to release their joint EP hopefully sooner rather than later.
