Kalok Yeung – that is the name of this young DJ and producer who calls himself The Eleven since 2010 (at least when it comes to music). Based in Utrecht, Netherlands, the 22 years old producer, has already remixed Wazabi's "Shogun" and Slap In The Bass' track "Nada" which was released on No Brainer Records. I remember that he got my full attention with his 'Winter Mixtape' of 2011 that combined everything I loved at that time, managed it to surprise me and featured some beautiful transitions.

And now, he is doing it again, seven months later, with his Summer Mixtape. The tracklist is quite interesting and bounces between the modern techno of Gingy & Bordello or Sei A, the bright electro sound of Manare and Shadow Dancer and the bass vibes of Boddika and French Fries. But with all the tracks sharing a certain atmosphere and theme, the mixtape as a whole is just amazingly coherent.

Tracklist

01. Gingy & Bordello – Iron & Water
02. Voltron – Desire (Jean Nipon Remix)
03. Sei A – Mercy Bass
04. Mosca – Eva Mendes
05. Strip Steve – Astral Projection (Destructo Remix- Boys Noize Edit)
06. Doctr – AAAA (The Eleven Remix)
07. Piri Piri – Mami (Manare Remix)
08. The Eleven – Take Me (Revamped)
09. Jim E-Stack – Bubble Boy
10. ??? – ???
11. ??? – ???
12. Nick Monaco & Kill Frenzy – This1 That1
13. French Fries – What To Do
14. Harvard Bass – Plex (Ego Troopers Remix)
15. Blatta & Inesha – F1 (Shadow Dancer Remix)
16. Boddika – Faint
17. Boys Noize & Erol Alkan – Brain Storm (Unsubscribe Remix)
18. LOL Boys – Changes (Shlohmo Remix)

And as always, I have a little something for you. This time it is a remix of 'In My Brain' from The 2 Bears by The Eleven:
