The latest from Detroit's singer-songwriter and soulful multi-instrumentalist Mayer Hawthorne comes in the form of an official music video for the soul-drenched grown n' sexy single "Henny & Gingerale" off of Hawthorne's 2011 album How Do You Do. Those familiar with the chill record are surely aware of the song's nod to Marvin Gaye's Soul Train standard "Got to Give it Up."
The visuals to Hawthorne's head-bobbing, finger-snapping ode to a popular cognac mixed drink features a lively party populated by plenty of pretty of women and an assortment of glasses and bottles of Hennessy. In addition to his latest video, Mayer is currently city hopping across the United States on the North American leg of his How Do You Do World Tour.
