The weekend has come and gone, and now you're deep into your weekly grind. Never fear, Wobble Wednesday is back with more of your favorite face-melting bass drops to help you make the most of your mundane lifestyle. Today I'll be guiding you along through the many variations of bass music that we see these days, new and old. I wanted to turn the Wobble Wednesday feature into more than just a section for today's dubstep, so I decided it was only right to incorporate some drum & bass as well as an oldies section into the weekly feature.
You'll be hearing amazing bass-driven tunes from the softer, chiller side of dubstep to the filthy, grimier side that everybody loves to rage to. I'll also dip into the world of drum & bass as well as add some classic tunes from the 'golden age' of dubstep. All I ask from you guys is to enjoy and download. Once the weekend hits, steal the iPod at the party and throw on these songs. Guarantee it will make the place jump!
BASS
Another "Midnight City" remix? I suppose technically, yes. But then again, not at all. Kill Paris does an amazing job not making their song sound like another M83 remix. "Keep Your Secrets in Midnight City" is not simply a dubbed out version of "Midnight City." It samples the song in the opening bit, and the rest is an excellent orignal piece. "Here We Go" by TYR and Rodway is a poppy, synth happy track with a very abnormal bass line that seems to work perfectly. Hopefully these two collaborate on a few more tracks, because what they have going works.

FILTH
The Killabits just released their new We Have A Crisis EP this week and with the inaugural release comes a free track with DOOM label master Figure. "Heavy Metal" is an ear screeching track with plenty of filth. You've been warned this one goes hard, with the name "Heavy Metal," would you assume anything else? Stinkahbell is one of my favorite dubstep artists. He's been around for what seems like the entire industry's existence and still going strong. This time he turns the common Jay Z and Kanye beat upside down to create "Stinkahz' in Paris."

OLDIES
For your old school fix this week, I have supplied you with a couple nice DnB gems from the late '00s from Evol Intent and Wickaman featuring J. Majik. It's always nice to hear what drum & bass used to sound like just before it was flooded into a mix of multiple genres.
DRUM & BASS
Matrix & Futurebound mix some dubstep style bass to create this poppy drum & bass tune in "Biology." This is definitely a track that people can get down to. Boston based filthy dubstep and DnB trio, Terravita have released their remix to Bare & Datisk's banger "King Kong." This track is heavy, while not trying to veer too far from the original's mood, it's still a masterful track in itself.

CHILL
This week MiM0SA dropped a new free track that remixes Above & Beyond's "Sun & Moon." After 58 Degrees, MiM0SA decided to focus more heavily on his 808's rather than wacky bass lines. Whatever your taste, everyone can agree that this remix is utterly amazing. A new ENiGMA track came out this week, and it looks like a new EP in the near future as well. For people that thought that garage ended with the rise of dubstep, "Rainbow" shows that it's still here and in full swing.
