The 8th annual A3C Hip Hop Festival is actively ramping up for this year's event, happening October 11-13. With last year's headliners including names like Big K.R.I.T., 9th Wonder, Jean Grae and Elzhi, the Georgia-based festival remains a place to be seen and heard, serving as a prime launching pad for talented new artists, DJs, producers and fans alike.
Today is the last day for artists to submit for the festival at the early bird rate of $10 and discounted tickets are available for sale now. Artist submissions will continue to be accepted through August 31, 2012 for $15. After August 31, submissions will close for the 2012 festival and will reopen in the winter for the 2013 festival. Looking to attend as a fan? Festival attendees can purchase tickets now at a discounted rate for a limited time.
With an expanded five-stage venue in Atlanta's Little Five Points neighborhood, new festival logo and ticket sales already taking off, A3C is among the premiere spots to witness the best picks of the industry, including education and community programming, panel discussions and workshops. Since 2005, the event has featured over 600 of the most elite artists in Hip Hop including: Rakim, Buckshot, Black Sheep, DJ Premier, The Juice Crew, Biz Markie, Del the Funky Homosapien, The Clipse, Souls of Mischief, Little Brother, Wale and B.o.B.
Specific showcase, panel, artist and event updates will be announced through the A3C website on a rolling basis and continuing through the event’s start on October 11, 2012.
