Dr. Dre – “Still D.R.E” (Shatterhors Sitdown Refix)

Dr. Dre is one of the fathers of hip hop, so to simply hear any dubstep or electro remix would not suffice. Shatterhands and HORs teamed up to take the original "Still D.R.E" and transform it into an eerie chillwave refix. Immediately after hearing this I thought of Clams Casino and his smooth, dreamlike sound when it comes to production. Clams Casino often works hand in hand with rappers so it seems only fitting that dreamlike music continue to go hand in hand with rap music. Give this refix a listen and see the calmness of the original beat and how Shatterhands and HORs turn it into a dark, synthwave spin on the original.
