The weekend has come and gone, and now you're deep into your weekly grind. Never fear, Wobble Wednesday is back with more of your favorite face-melting bass drops to help you make the most of your mundane lifestyle. Let me introduce myself, my name is Logan and I'll be guiding you along through the many variations of bass music that we see these days, new and old. I wanted to turn the Wobble Wednesday feature into more than just a section for today's dubstep, so I decided it was only right to incorporate some drum & bass as well as an oldies section into the weekly feature.

You'll be hearing amazing bass-driven tunes from the softer, chiller side of dubstep to the filthy, grimier side that everybody loves to rage to. I'll also dip into the world of drum & bass as well as add some classic tunes from the 'golden age' of dubstep. All I ask from you guys is to enjoy and download. Once the weekend hits, steal the iPod at the party and throw on these songs. Guarantee it will make the place jump!

BASS

Delta Heavy's been on a tear lately, first with their remix of of Nero's single "Must Be The Feeling," turning it into a massive DnB hit, and most recently remixing "Flesh & Bone" by Emalkay. A few days ago they dropped this instant hit, remixing "Iron Dear Dream" by Fixers. GRiZ is not one for making traditional dubstep, what's most interesting is the electro feel they give off in all their tracks and still maintaining the heavy dub sound. Real instruments go a long way, folks.

FILTH

Document One is one of the hardest producers in the game crushing audiences with their heavy drops for years. "Moving Together" is just the newest banger from these guys with its chillingly epic drops contrasted by the soft vocals and piano chords. Butch Clancy released his newest track "Lonely" this week and I couldn't stop listening. I'd advise you to listen to this one in your car or at least with proper speakers, earbuds won't cut it with this one.

OLDIES

This is the new oldies section, or basically 2009 and earlier, where beats were steady and the wobbles were heavy. This week we've got a classic tune from "the dopest ghost in town," none other than Caspa. I also added a track by 16bit before they sounded like dinosaurs gnawing your face off. These are all great tunes, and I hope that you will enjoy browsing through the origins of dubstep.

DRUM & BASS

Rameses B, known for a softer chiller dub sound takes a crack at some DnB, and let me tell you the blend is perfection. About halfway through it turns into an epic orchestral ballad then brings you right back into it. Off the self titled EP, Hybrid Minds releases "Lost" as a softer drum & bass track, calming but still very danceable.

CHILL

I can't get enough of Draper, the man knows how to make music. His newest remix of "Shine On You" by Strangers has the classic sound that we can expect from Draper that's more than just a simple drum beat with a basic bass line layered over.  It has depth and almost tells a story throughout the entire song. Just take a listen and you'll understand. PatrickReza has been heating up recently, hitting the top of the HypeM charts rather consistently. There is no reason why his latest track won't do the same.

If you've got any suggestions for me to throw up here next week, I'd love to hear it. I'm always down to listen to new stuff.
