James Blake – "Order" & "Pan" [Download]

James Blake is the undisputed king of electronic music right now. He sits at the nexus of future garage and indie pop, and it doesn't look like he'll be leaving the limelight anytime soon because two new tracks-"Order and "Pan"-are posed to be released July 11 via Hemlock Records. You can head over to HMVDigital to pre-order and stream finished versions of both tracks, or download an earlier rip of "Order" below. Both songs are quintessentially James Blake with eclectic percussion, syncopated beats, and ethereal white noise abound. Be sure to follow him @jamesblake for info regarding further releases and upcoming gigs.

  • I'm confused…you say he's the undisputed king of electronic..and THIS is the song you post? Was that meant to be sarcastic, because that's how I'm gonna take it

    • Just to let you know, people who really enjoy minimal music also really enjoy it when people don't get it… Leave it for the appreciators and just be glad that JB isn't settling into a comfortable zone for the sake of wallowing in something played out or something that he's already well-known for. Can't say how pleased I was when I heard these tracks and found that they aren't what people were expecting.

  • I love Order.
I've loved everything his done, but Order is better than anything on his self-titled album.
