Explosions In the Sky dropped their new album Take Care, Take Care, Take Care this Tuesday. It's been four long years since their last album All of a Sudden I Miss Everyone and the Post-Rock quartet has come back strong.

Explosions In the Sky (always better than explosions on the ground) self produced the album, and teamed up with Paper Chase member John Congleton to help with the recording of it at Sonic Ranch in El Paso, Texas. As with their previous albums, Take Care, Take Care, Take Care is full of long, soundtrack like compositions that are fused together by beautiful transitions and excellent producing. The group said that the album was going to be different than anything else they've done before, and in a way it is- but thankfully their symphonic guitar interplay, beautiful drumming and breathtaking crescendoes are still the face of their music.
Explosions In the Sky is one of the last true Post-Rock bands, as most of their counterparts have ventured off into electronic music or disappeared from music altogether. This is the type of music that can help wind you down at the end of the day, an anti stress masterpiece that is perfect for anything from a ride in the car to a nap in a hammock. Go into the album expecting nothing, let it clear your mind and dictate your thoughts itself.
Take Care, Take Care, Take Care is a beautiful album, and anyone who is anybody should buy it. Too lazy to go to the store and buy it? Well, I've provided you a link at the bottom to purchase it online. To lazy to purchase it online?
