Suicide Sundaes – stop your grinnin' and drop your linen. Every Sunday electblake of Earmilk will bring you the weeks dirty servings, and some old favorites through a throwdown-throwback to simpler times. A time when bangers were big, remixes were bigger, the bassline bled, and we didn't care about anything as long as came in kicking and left screaming. To hell with sketchy sunday, we want to shove another dragon down the hole.
Core Dance Genres are Cool.
So, this week we open up with some classic house, electro pop, and just genuine club greatness. The greatness is centered around two tracks imho, Laidback Luke – Till Tonight (MSTRKRFT) remix and Robyn – Dancing On My Own (Fred Falke Remix).
I say these tracks are classic because they both are basically about someone at a club, huge and smooth vocals and a kick that makes you wanna jump. All of the artists involved in these two tracks know what they are doing when it comes to dancefloors and beatports.
Next we have some new The Count & Sinden who have teamed up Mystery Jets for "After Dark" which fits right into our primetime start-up line-up. After that we roll into more non-surprisingness with Two Door Cinema Club, Dubsteping M.I.A, Chromeo, but also the (unknown to me) Kidz in Space, who have a new single (True Tiger remix featured below) that features the multi-talented UK posterboy Dan Black.
Other then that be sure to checkout the new GTRONIC (!), Mustard Pimp (!!), and welcome back an SS favourite Audionite.
p.s
enjoy the club Linkin Park remix – maybe recruit your pop'd collar roommate to our cause, it'll do him some good.
