While his last release was a straight up freestyle over a simple but iconic Drake beat, Chox-Mak’s new track is one of his most expansive efforts to date, and he’s brought in Bullet Brak who also makes a big impact on “Don’t Do It”. North Villah’s beat feels cinematic, raw and timeless simultaneously and both Mak and Brak’s dynamic lyricism carries a message of work ethic and a refusal to give up on dreams. From the offset intense bars are thrown around with relative ease from Mak before Brak makes his mark, carving in an atmospheric hook.
“Winning’s the only option, there’s no other choice, any time I think about quitting I hear that little voice say no, no, don’t do it”
Bullet Brak and North Villa join the long list of collaborators to work with Chox-Mak and DJ YRS Jerzy and are strong new additions to the 90’s Flow family, Brak of course laid down a Sway "In The Morning" freestyle last year and Villah consistently delivers edgy instrumentals via his SoundCloud that you can imagine your favourite rapper rhyming over; “Save” and “In The Middle” are his latest crispy offerings.
