Brace yourselves. Haywyre's "Dichotomy" is built to sweep you off of your feet. It is glitch-hop and trap gold. It is a wave of futuristic jazz with a little dubstep mixed in. The Indiana native, who now resides in Minneapolis, has created an absolute monster that drops alto sax in with heavy percussion and plenty of sounds from the distant future. They could be listening to this in the year 3000 right now. Haywyre is a master of modern sound and "Dichotomy" is a gift that keeps giving for 4-minutes straight. It builds to a slow boil before turning into a dance floor-packing super jam; it is utterly devastating and absolute bliss at the same time. It even ventures off into sinister territory before bringing you back to a sonic utopia. You wont be able to get this one out of your head for a while, and that's a good thing. This is everything magical about electronic music wrapped up into one sleek package. Enjoy.
