The kings of groovy, feel-good remixes have recently released their latest remix just in time for the much-needed weekend. The Soundmen are known for the outstanding remixing in groovalicious, bouncing manner. This duo is a hot commodity, and artists who they remix should be grateful for that opportunity. Their latest target happens to be Alison Valentine's "Peanut Butter", which is an extremely upbeat tune that makes you want to hit the beach. The Soundmen aims to re-create, develop and extend their own unique sound based on the elements of the original track, with a few outside inspirations.
The Soundmen describes, "The track is retro electro groove which was inspired by the likes of Debbie Deb and The Dream to create an entirely unique mood. The original was an anthem for the summer and our remix extends its smooth vibes into the fall and beyond!"
Their remix of "Peanut Butter" does exactly that. They kept the basic elements of the original, and created a completely new set of sounds that set off different vibes. The Soundmen introduce an array of synths and 80s drum-rolls, which adds to the dynamic layering. When all is said and done, the yielding result is a cohesive whole. The duo has yet again cranked out another quality remix in their own, special formulaic approach. The remix of "Peanut Butter" definitely explains why named themselves The Soundmen. Be sure to to hit up the original, as it's a quality song in itself.
