This is your Daily 2% – Chilled and Ready to Serve. We will try to bring you one "chill" track every day. This is for when you get home and you are trying to unwind. You reach for that glass of wine or that unlit Black & Mild or maybe you reach for something more herbal. This track is for those times. We are just your milkmen and I'm here to make a delivery. Chill…
Today's delivery is brought to you by Miles Davis. This jazz musician needs no real introduction but, at the same time, it's apparent that EARMILK hasn't really done any type of formal post on this legend. One of our 2012 resolutions is to include a bit more jazz in the upcoming year just because it really deserves a presence even if its minor. Now, I know everyone is done unwrapping gifts and, after a day with all your relatives, you probably need a track you can just chillax to while you browse the web and catch up on everything you've missed. The track I'm bringing to you today is called "Chez Le Photographe Du Motel" which comes from the soundtrack album for the movie Ascenseur pour l'échafaud (Elevator to the Gallows). The film has a very dark theme and carries the "film noir" style. Obviously this is a somewhat darker track. So, I would suggest using the track during your hangover period while you slowly make your way around the room to sober up. Or maybe just use it as you lay around the house trying your best to do absolutely nothing for the day. It's the holidays so do your best to relax.
