Over the last few years, Atlanta rapper $ODAMAN has been one of the most consistent forces the underground scene has to offer. Due to a strong work ethic, consistency, and an ability to shift through different cadences at the drop of a dime, the ATL native has been slowly but surely climbing up the ranks, becoming less of an underground gem and more of a notable artist to watch, largely due to his recent mixtape SO DA TAPE 2. Looking to further his ascension, he drops off a video to one of the standouts from the tape, "ALOT X3."
Serving as a standout from his most recent release, "ALOT X3" is a spaced out, melodically driven record that completely matches the tone of the video one hundred percent. Produced by Chico, the song finds $ODAMAN at his most comfortable, rhyming quick-fire one-liners that at first feel as though they're rushed, but feel just right after a second listen. Rapping about how the focus on money has hindered his life in other personal areas, he brings this charm to life in the Kharkee produced video. Shot in New York City, leaning heavily on effects and distinct portrait shots of dogs and other things, the video is at its best when $ODAMAN is firmly on camera showcasing the charisma and bravado that has made him one of the most intriguing artists in the Atlanta underground.
