Take a trip to Los Angeles with Blxst & 1TakeJay in their festive new video for "Slip & Slide"

Despite all of the woes and worries that 2020 has brought us, let us not forget, summer is upon us. What was supposed to be one for the ages has still turned out to be just that, only in a different way. With people all over the world getting creative for their summer fun, we've seen all types of set ups. Originating from Los Angeles, natives Blxst and 1TakeJay had no plans of letting their summer come and go, as evidenced in their new video for, "Slip & Slide."

Directed by Blu, the video finds Blxst and Jay in the backyard of a L.A. home in the hills surrounded by trees, a pool and beautiful women. Showcasing their charisma, the two infectiously bring the already enjoyable record to life by doing simple things such as engaging the models. In many other videos, the women are left to look like props, making the whole thing look artificial, but not here. 

As for the record, this is undoubtably one of the best singles of the year. Produced by Blxst himself, the bouncy instrumental could probably be a hit on it's own. Instead, the two display a ridiculous amount of chemistry on their first collaboration. With Blxst providing his burnished melodies on the chorus and finishing verses, Jay does his part by opening up the song with a silky smooth verse, buoyed by his signature, "Wait Hol Up!" phrase. 

Although this is the first collaboration from the two L.A. natives, it surely won't be the last. With both of them making waves respectively, Blxst with his many collaborations and Jay with his party music, it should be a sight to see when they both bring even more clout to the table on the next one.
