Drum & Bass may not be everyone's cup of tea, but Nick & Garvey of The Prototypes somehow make it go down oh-so smoothly. The English duo have been around for four years now, having debuted on Viper Recordings and quickly gaining recognition from some of the UKs biggest names in electronic: Zane Lowe, Annie Mac, and more. For their most recent escapade, The Prototypes return to their home label to put out the highly-anticipated two-track release of "Don't Let Me Go" and "Humanoid", which will drop on August 10th and can be pre-ordered now.
For those who do pre-order, you will be getting the following track for free. It's the Jade Blue Piano remix of "Don't Let Me Go", and the up-and-coming, British DJ/producer takes the song in a completely different direction. Instead of a barrage of beats flying by at breakneck speeds, Jade does a full 180 on this one, elevating Amy Pearson's vocals to heavenly levels and taking us back to a time of pure house. It's unimaginable bliss and the perfect contrast to The Prototype's namesake, DnB.
