Eagles of Death Metal removed from festival lineups, following terrorist accusations

Since the tragic terrorist assault upon Paris and The Bataclan, Eagles of Death Metal vocalist and guitarist Jesse Hughes has made a handful of controversial comments surrounding issues of terrorism and gun safety. Jesse Hughes made comments to Fox News, in which "he alleges that security guards at the [The Bataclan] may have been involved."

The Eagles of Death Metal have recently been dropped from both Cabaret Vert and Rock en Seine festivals, because of discontent stated by the organizers pertaining to Hughes' terrorist accusations.

Being in total disagreement with Jesse Hugues’ recent allegations given in an itw with an american media, both Cabaret Vert & Rock en Seine festivals have decided to cancel the band’s performance. We thank you for your understanding.
